Job Summary:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will ensure the proper operation and preventive maintenance of the machinery. In addition, the electromechanic will have to make repairs following breakdowns during daytime production and will have to make installations when necessary. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to perfect and develop his skills since the mandates entrusted to him will be varied.

*** Duties:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the plant's production equipment
- Analyze, diagnose and proceed to the replacement and/or repair of various electromechanical elements such as electric motors, wiring, sensors, transformers and control components
- Proceed to the replacement and/or repair of various mechanical elements such as chains, bearings, pulleys, belts and various mechanical link elements
- Respond to service calls from production and troubleshoot equipment
- Test and observe electrical, electronic and mechanical components and systems using test and measurement equipment
- Participate in the installation and/or modification of various production equipment
