Bachelor’s degree in RI or HR or Administration option Human Resources; 3-5 years of experience in human resources and manufacturing; Membership in the Order of IS/HR is a definite asset; Knowledge of the Ms Office suite; Knowledge of a pay system (e.g. Employer D) an asset; Respect for the concept of confidentiality; Discretion, autonomy and responsibility; Rigour, discipline and respect; Attention to detail; Teamwork and sense of humour required; Able to work overtime when required; Excellent knowledge of French in oral and written, oral and written English with an intermediate level of knowledge; Ability to work under pressure.
Job Summary:
Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator with an HR generalist role. The main responsibilities of the position are:
Comprehensive staffing process: collection of labour requirements, recruitment, writing and revision of job descriptions, interviews, pre-employment validations, intake and onboarding, evaluation of probation period, follow-up of work permits, departure process;
Development of innovative talent search, attraction and employee retention strategies;
Occupational Health and Safety: Management of Work Injury Records and Prevention Program;
Labour Relations: managing labour relations files and being a resource person for employees and other departments;
Group insurance: coordination of group insurance program, presentation of insurance, memberships, withdrawals and other modifications;
Performance evaluations: coordination of the performance evaluation process;
Training: management of new employee training and management of employee training programs;
Compensation: management and updating of salary ranges and pay equity management;
Policies and procedures: creation and updating of policies and procedures;
Participation in the management committee;
Management of employee files and filing;
Management of HR dashboards and production of various HR reports (training legislation, OQLF, etc.);
Supervision of employee(s).
