-DEC in architectural techniques -3-4 years' experience in a comparable position (construction or renovation supervisor, general contractor, etc.) -Valid driver's license -Active member of a professional corporation in field of specialization (asset) -Excellent knowledge of building construction/renovation techniques and components Good knowledge of the management of lump-sum or on-demand public contracts -Excellent knowledge of typical construction assemblies and details -Excellent ability to read plans and specifications -Excellent knowledge of administrative processes related to construction management -Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French, current construction standards and regulations, and work supervision and control techniques -Interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and mobilize various stakeholders (contractor, professionals, tenants) -Ability to write letters and reports, evaluate costs and completion times, and observe details Basic computer skills (e-mail, Excel, Word) -Knowledge of antennas and telecommunications equipment, an asset -Knowledge of Safety Code 6, an asset
Job Summary:
One of our customers, a large paramunicipal organization, is looking for a Works Supervisor-Buildings Profile. Under the supervision of the Director of Building Services and the Works Coordinator, the incumbent coordinates and supervises construction, renovation, fit-up and major repair work on the organization's buildings, as assigned. He/she represents the owner during such work, acting as an intermediary between contractors, professionals, sectors and tenants. He is also responsible for the administrative follow-up of the projects entrusted to him.

-50% of your time: presence on site (visits, inspections, meetings)

-25% of time: administrative management (possibility of teleworking for this activity)

-20% of time: finance and accounting (invoice processing)

-5% of time: on-site expertise and analysis

Workplace: Montreal, near Rosemont Metro

Daytime schedule: Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)
