Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years' experience in a warehouse or plant - Narrow aisle and counterbalance - Weight to be lifted 50 pounds maximum (rarely) - Must be able to read and write - Forklift driving certification is required - Ability to communicate in French and English - Physical ability to execute manual work in a warehouse setting (lifting, pushing, pulling a maximum of 50 lbs) - Ability to complete the tasks described on respective documents (inventory sheet, bill of lading, and warehouse receipts)
Job Summary:
We're looking to hire two forklift drivers for our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics sector located in Montreal (Saint-Laurent).

*** Here are your tasks as a forklift driver ***

- Receive merchandise (unloading, verification of merchandise and documentation, warehousing)
- Receive consolidations (unpacking, verification of merchandise and documentation, and preparation of shipments)
- Prepare orders within deadline.
- Place the merchandise, optimizing space, and comply with the standards of the warehouse.
- Load containers and securely store merchandise.
- Process work orders (palettization, inventory, verification, etc. ...)
- Wrap and palletize merchandise
- Use an RF reader to stock inventory
- Follow up on orders not completed.
