Job Summary:
*** PERMANENT POSITION ***

Do you have experience of installation, assembly and fitting work, and are you in good physical condition? Can you read and study drawings and plans very well, and are comfortable using assembly tools ?

We are looking to hire an Assembler for our client, a leading supplier of metal components and fume hoods creating durable, high quality products.

*** Responsibilities ***

The Assembler studies assembly drawings and blueprints to determine the materials required and plans the sequence of tasks to be performed in order to assemble the products as efficiently as possible.
He fetches the necessary materials from the store. The assembler makes sure he has all the parts needed to assemble the finished product.
He procures the missing parts from the various work cells, assembles them and ensures that each one meets the company's quality standards before starting assembly.
He assembles furniture, tables, hoods or special projects.
The assembler places the parts on the pallet intended for them, and correctly identifies the pallet according to the order.
If necessary, he performs electrical, plumbing and pressure (gas) tests.
