Job Summary:
Our client, a large municipal organization, is seeking a Special Projects Administrative Officer for its Rent Supplement Programs Department.

Under the supervision of the Director, the primary role of the incumbent is to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including those related to the leasing and renewal of leases for housing units set aside under the private rent supplement program.

Your detailed duties will include:
-Performs file analysis (verification and validation of supporting documents)
-Evaluates the needs of the clientele, calculates the rent to be paid (first lease), performs basic verifications on payments to landlords
-Ensures the activities of renewal, termination of leases, creation and computer modification
-Performs various administrative tasks, participates in different projects (renewal of leases in neighborhoods or homes, a tower, etc.)
-Meets with tenants, landlords (private landlords, NPOs or housing cooperatives) or their agents, at the service office, at a point of service or in a dwelling
-Participates in the development of methods, standards and procedures
Ensures contact with private landlords, non-profit organizations, cooperatives, the SHQ, as well as with tenants
-The person is responsible for customer service, both by telephone and in interviews, in relation to the various administrative tasks assigned to him/her
-Provides assistance to his/her colleagues
-Performs all related activities that he/she is reasonably capable of performing

Work schedule on the day shift, Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)
Temporary mandate until December 2022, with possibility of extension
